Where the statutory right to cancel an online purchase applies, customers may generally cancel within 14 days after receiving the goods. To request a cancellation, email sales@aminoworks.co.uk with the order reference.
Any legal exception, including an exception relating to sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health-protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed, will be applied only where it lawfully applies to the product and circumstances.
Due to the specialist nature of these products, Amino Works Limited does not accept returns where an item is no longer required, was ordered in error or the customer has changed their mind, except where the customer has a statutory right to cancel or return the goods.
Beyond statutory rights, Amino Works Limited may be unable to accept returns of opened, used, unsealed, damaged, temperature-compromised, tampered-with or incorrectly stored research chemicals and laboratory materials. Returned goods must be unopened, unused, in their original packaging and suitable for safe inspection.
This policy does not affect rights relating to faulty, damaged, misdescribed, incorrect or undelivered goods. Contact us as soon as possible with the order reference. For damage or an incorrect item, include photographs of the outer packaging, delivery label and affected item, and keep all packaging until the matter is resolved.
Where we require a return of a potentially faulty or incorrect product, we will provide an appropriate return method.
Contact us before sending any item. The return method and responsibility for reasonable return costs depend on the reason for return and your statutory rights. Where goods are confirmed as faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed, Amino Works Limited will provide the remedy and return arrangements required by law.
Approved refunds will be made using the original payment method unless the parties lawfully agree otherwise. Any applicable refund deadline and the treatment of the original standard delivery charge will follow statutory requirements.
Our current standard delivery charge is £5.99. Additional delivery services or costs chosen by a customer are treated in accordance with applicable law.
